Ravenscraig steel (1990) – SX 6M23 11:00 Mossend NY – Dee Marsh [Part 1]

Drive the last part of the electric portion of the 11:00 Mossend to Dee Marsh steel train between Preston and Warrington. Uncouple and stable the pair of AC locomotives at the dock Siding at Warrington.
87029 has been standing in the sweltering afternoon sun during your break here at Preston. Get some air in the cab and set up. Once the traffic has cleared and you have the road, head south to Warrington. You will uncouple from the steel wagons on the Up Goods Loop at Bank Quay and head into the dock siding to wait for this pair of ACs next duties.

The steel started its journey this morning from Ravenscraig steelworks being hauled by a diesel to Mossend. These two electrics have then carried it over Shap, and you’ll continue with them to Warrington. Another diesel will then take them towards Chester and finally Dee Marsh yard.

55 minute scenario for the ATS Midlands & North West route v4. Weather: Fair cloud/Showers. Feedback is much appreciated. Hope you enjoy! 😊
