In June 2018, S.R.P.S. Railtours organised an ambitious 2-day tour for enthusiasts travelling overnight and through Saturday along lines to the North, South, East and West of Glasgow featuring electric haulage on newly electrified routes between Glasgow and Edinburgh. After running through the night in the Glasgow suburbs, you now assume control at sunrise with Caledonian Sleeper’s 86401 ‘Mons Meg’ at the helm of 1Z92 ex Helensburgh Central to Edinburgh portion of the trip. You’ll be in charge as far as Airdrie with 37025 ‘Inverness TMD’ DIT on the rear. Year: 2018
