Friday, Dovetail Games announced details regarding Train Simulator 2021. The game is set to be released on the 17th of September and will automatically be upgraded to the new version on this date.

Which has already been done to TS2021 and is available for download through the ATS website. But this version is from DTG and will cut down the requirements quite a lot from the previous version released by the third party. We will also see a return of the Class 390 Pendo coming in Avanti livery. This has been greatly received by fans of TS classic. However, DTG has not released details regarding bug fixes, and no confirmation if the OOM (Out Of Memory Error) has been fixed.

Also included with TS2021 is the Fife Circle route and Norddeutsche-Bahn. They have also been working on better steam workshop functionality, it has yet to be confirmed what this is but we await for details this week..

As with any TS release on Steam. It will likely launch at 18:00 BST. TS2021 does not release on the home consoles
