Hello there, and thank you for downloading this 95 minute scenario for the North Wales Coast TfW route.

To install this scenario to your library, you simply need to copy the ‘Content’ folder into your Railworks folder and it should be ready to play.

Scenario summary.
It’s an Overcast Spring afternoon in 1998 and you are taking charge of one of the regular ballast trains that run from the quarry at Penmaenmawr to various destinations. At the time this particular service was booked for a pair of class 31s, but today you have a pair of 37/0s. Today your train is formed of a mixed load of wagons and as it’s running as a class 7 freight, the maximum permitted speed is 45mph.

About the author

Freight traffic is my main area of interest and I aim to make my Train Sim scenarios as true to the prototype as is reasonably possible. For scenarios set in more recent times I'll try and use the stock as it was on a particular service (apart from wagon numbers - life is too short!) but for earlier scenarios a bit of licence may be required. I thoroughly test each scenario before it gets uploaded, but if there are any problems then please leave a comment and I'll try and sort it out. I do hope you enjoy these scenarios. Happy driving!

    I thank you for your patience with this issue, as I said above I’m still new to all this but hopefully the issue is solved now. I downloaded the scenario and it worked so hopefully that’s it.

    Hello everyone,
    Please accept my apologies. It seems there’s an issue with the wrong route code. This is slightly irritating as I checked before I uploaded and I can only put it down to somehow clicking the wrong folder, which is highly possible as I’m still a bit new to this.

    I’ll get it sorted out as soon as I can.

    HI Wayne Crowley, I have downloaded the scenario, which I was looking forward to playing the scenario, unfortunately seems to be an issue, the scenario installs in to the South Wales Coastal route which is 00000068-a000-0000-0000-000000002016, I tried to move it into the North Wales Coastal route [TFW] but it does not appear in the standard scenario list, so unfortunately casn’t play the scenario, any help on resolving the problem would be most appreciated.

        Thank you for the quick reply, that’s ok it’s understandable that sometimes there are issues/ teething problems etc, Yes definitely still wish to drive the 37’s on the scenario.

    Is the installation folder correct?
    Isn’t 00000068-a000-0000-0000-000000002016 South Wales Coastal?

      Hello there. Yes, you’re right. I honestly don’t know how it happened because I did check before uploading, the only thing I can think of is that I clicked on a duplicate folder that I hadn’t changed the route on.

      It should be sorted now, and I thank you for your response.
