Following the failure of 325003+325011+325012 north of Carlisle earlier in the day, EWS dispatched Class 67 no. 67026 Diamond Jubilee to rescue the units and drag them south to Warrington to complete their journey. You’re picking up the run at Preston for the final 25 miles to Warrington. On arrival at Dallam RMT you’ll need to uncouple from the Class 325s and run light to Warrington Bank Quay to stable your Class 67. Traffic is heavy and as you’re late you’ll have to give way to a few other services along the way, including being looped at Wigan.
