14th July 2023Hello, this is one ‘standard’ scenario for the ‘Riviera Line Exeter to Paignton’ route available from Steam.
Length: Approximately 55 minutes.
>Installation:
To install, simply extract the .zip file using whichever software you have and copy the ‘Content’ folder to your RailWorks install “usually” found here:

>Scenario Guide:
You begin this scenario at Exeter St. David’s where you have just relieved your colleague on 1C85 the 14:36 departure from London Paddington. You will now work 1C85 for the last 28 miles between Exeter and Paignton before you shunt the unit into Goodrington sidings where it will wait for its return trip later in the evening. No issues have been reported so far and the weather is set fair at the moment, but there is a chance of some showers blowing in off the coast. A detailed manual with links to everything you need is included with the download:

Finally, my love Class 800 again, very relax scenario by the way)
hi just to let you know.i get a green signal to depart.but after i pass .i get a spad.thx
Mark, you need to ensure that in your game settings, go to the Gameplay tab, find the ‘Passing danger signal ends game’ and if the box is ticked you need to un-tick it to ensure you’re able to use the Signal EP as it has been intended.
signal was green.when i tried to pass.iav done what you said.just trying now
Yes, the signal should clear to a green just before departure using the Signal EP, but in order to not receive the SPAD message, you need to have that option I mentioned un-ticked.
sorted now.thx
excellent scenario thank you. Try it with the AP cloud enhancement pack if you can afford it and it will blow your mind! lol
Thanks for your feedback Ralph, I’m delighted you enjoyed it and the Cloud Pack is certainly really impressive! Regards, John.
An excellent scenario thank you
Cheers John, really glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you John, another excellent scenario. Regards, Barrie. Incidentally, I did not get any showers along the route.
Thank you very much Barrie, delighted you enjoyed it and thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you didn’t experience the showers as intended though. I’m wondering if my Weather Enhancement Pack was up to date. I’ll update it again and check the weather settings in the scenario and see if that makes a difference for people. Regards, John.
Excellent scenario as always.
Before I reach out to AP: did anyone who installed the Cloud EP get the showers?
It’s been two scenarios I played without having them and I feel like this might be a bug with it (the other scenario was 1M45).
Thank you Frank, I’m glad you enjoyed it but I’m sorry you didn’t experience the showers as intended. I’ll double check that I was using the updated Weather EP just in case, but they certainly worked for me on testing. If it is a glitch with the pack (and I’m not saying it is) would be good to hear what reply you get. Cheers Frank, John.
I noticed AP updated the SWEPv2 a few hours ago (installer from today, 12:24 CEST) and carried out a test on your scenario and it looks fixed!
That’s brilliant Frank! Thank you very much for the info, I’ll do the same my end so all other scenarios should work as planned first time hopefully! Thanks again. Cheers, John.
