27th September 2022Hello, this is one ‘standard’ scenario for the ’Midland Mainline’ route plus ‘Hope Valley’ extension which is available from Just Trains.

To install, simply extract the .zip file using whichever software you have and copy the ‘Content’ folder to your RailWorks install “usually” found here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks
>Scenario Guide:
You begin this scenario stopped at Hazel Grove High Level junction where the line to Sheffield leaves the Buxton line and rises up to meet the line from Northenden. You have been held to let a couple of passenger trains past first before you continue the slog towards Sheffield. You are working Pathfinder Tours ‘Rother-Don Rambler’ the 06:17 from Bristol Temple Meads to Deepcar with DCR liveried 31601 and BR Green 31190 providing the power. You will now see this tour as far as Sheffield with a journey time of just under an hour. A detailed manual with links to everything you need is included with the download.

Whom do you work for now John?. I worked for BR from 1959 too 1966 in Train Control at Middlesbrough.
I now work for Avanti (used to be Virgin) on the West Coast Mainline based at stations. Good to hear you used to work on the railway yourself in what I’m sure was a very interesting, albeit different time to the modern day.
