HST Improvement Patch
8th January 2019***NOTE: As of the release of AP’s new HST Packs this patch is now obsolete and unsupported***
This patch for the Liveries that come with AP’s Enhancement packs that adds extra variants of some applicable liveries, new horn grilles that replace the old glass textured ones, Brush works plate that was added to most MTU powered cars on conversion and adding extra headlight variants to applicable liveries and adding Tail-lamps to the rear of the Power cars that show when not coupled to coaches. The Mk3s also have a few improvements such Tail lamps that appear when at the back of a train, New Decals for Buffet,Kitchen & catering vehicles and NMT coaches to more accurately represent the variations in these vehicles along with adding additional variants where applicable some of these variations include the TSD, TC and TRSMB for great western liveries (The TC & TRSMB were formerly an independent pack).
Note, this pack is NOT compatible with the Major Wales Design Class 43 Revamp Pack
Requirements
Steam
European Loco & Asset Pack (You may already own this, it’s bundled with some routes and came with Train Simulator before 2012.)
Armstrong Powerhouse
Class 43 (VP185)/Mk3 Enhancement Pack
Class 43 (Valenta)/Mk3 Enhancement Pack
Class 43 (MTU)/Mk3 Enhancement Pack
so there is a bunch of fumes coming out of the HST
have you followed the install instructions correctly and are you using a clean install of the HST Enhancement packs
is this combatable with the major wales design class 43 revamp pack?
The description clearly states it’s not
do I need all the ap clas 43s
not all a required however HSTs pertaining to the packs you dont have will not work
Hello! These enhancements look lovely from what I’ve seen of other people using them, however I have encountered an issue where the XC livery for the HST just coughs up plumes of clag and has no function. I do not know if this is an issue on my end (Which it probably is) or an issue with the pack. If you know what the issue is or how to resolve it please let me know. Sorry.
Not currently using this patch as I already had the Major Wales pack installed (sorry James!), but I have had the HST “plumes of clag” problem on odd occasions while using the MW pack (also had similar issues with the 158 and 142), so I’m assuming there could be some sort of clash with the AP packs. Try reinstalling the relevant AP pack(s) – guessing you will then need to reinstall this patch too. No guarantees as this isn’t an expert talking here, but so far it’s always worked for me.
i did all the steps but nothing is affected
invisible train but you can see couplings have it all down to a T but stil not working re did it but nope
do you have all the requirements?
The installer .Bat file isn’t working for me. At first it just deleted it’s self when I clicked to run it normally, then running it as admin made it run but it failed to copy any of the files.
I have all of the required files, does anyone know what might have gone wrong/what I can do to fix it?
please ensure you have followed the install instructions correctly and have all the requirements
Hi,
Could I ask that the 2 light cluster comes with this pack as I think it is cool!
Thanks,
Albie.
It’s saying file no longer exists when trying to download?
the site migration has broken the link i cant do much until i can reupload the file
Is there a way to uninstall this ??
reinstall the HST EPs
How do I do that?
rerun the installers
I don’t understand the installation process. Could you please help me?
you copy the assets file in the download into your railworks folder then run a batch file in Assets
please bring back the 3 cluster headlight VP185 HST locos as i love the trains that have 3 cluster headlights on either side like the HST shown as the logo for AP’s class 43 VP185 enhancement pack.
wait, AP just updated the VP185 pack so that the VP185 locomotives have the 3 cluster headlights, not the 2 cluster ones.
I apologise but I am unable to work out what the point of this comment is
hey james, can you do a S8 and 1972 stock trains from the london underground? the ones from JustTrains are payware, and i do not have enough money to buy the london underground stuff from JustTrains.
no
🙁
why?
Sander, do you not realise the time and effort involved in making stock from scratch, including somewhat accurate functionality, physics and sounds? It’s no wonder Developers charge for it.
makes sence.
how about you do he 1972 stock only and not the S8 stock? that will save time if you like saving time to test out the 1972 stock from the london underground on train simulator before bed time.
Superbe et cela change des tristes texture habituelles !!!
Bonne continuation
Cordialement, tof
Another piece of Fantastic work by James Ivell.
