In early 2005 as part of a marketing campaign to drum up public support for London’s bid for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games 319422 was re-liveried in a special livery along with a number of other trains in order to try and get the public to to show their support, evidently it must have had an effect as the London Bid would go on win the right to host the 2012 games beating the Paris bid, 54-50 votes.

This Pack includes Both the Back the Bid Reskin and an edit to the Thameslink Blue/Silver Livery where 319422 retained the “London 2012 Candidate City” decals on the Evacuation doors until it was refurbished/re-liveried by First Capital Connect
