Today, 12th of October 1991, is the start of a two weekend blockade at Wembley Central when the new junction between the fast and slow lines is installed. Severely restricted access to London Euston means BR diverts Liverpool services to London St Pancras. These sets are also turned around with the loco at the London end to ensure they will reach the wires as you can see here at Bedford when panning up.

You will oversee 87012 from Bedford heading south after having been dragged by a 47 from the WCML at Nuneaton. You will also drag a dead 86 on the 06:45 Liverpool Lime Street to (usually Euston, but now for the first time) London St Pancras. Enjoy busy MML traffic as well as diverted Liverpool expresses.

45 minute scenario for the DTG MML St Pancras – Bedford route. Date: 12rd of October 1991. Weather: Showers. Feedback is much appreciated. Hope you enjoy! 😊
