As part of a planned 16-day engineering blockade at Clay Cross Tunnel between Derby and Chesterfield, services are having to be diverted via the Erewash Valley lines to/from Chesterfield at Trent Jn. XC are running 1TPH via the ‘Wash’, reversing at Derby. EMR’s Sheffield Intercity route is being amended so that the semi-fast services start/terminate at Derby and the fast services are being diverted direct to/from East Midlands Parkway and Chesterfield via Toton. Tonight, you have picked up one such service at Leicester, the 18:02 from St Pancras through to Sheffield via Toton. Year: 2023
