19th July 2023Hello, this is one ‘standard’ scenario for the lovely ‘West Coast Mainline Midlands & Northwest’ route from ATS.
Length: Approximately 55 minutes.
>Installation:
To install, simply extract the .zip file using whichever software you have and copy the ‘Content’ folder to your RailWorks install “usually” found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks
*You may need to alter the drive letter specified depending on how your PC is configured and which drive you have TSC installed on.
>Scenario Guide:
You begin this scenario at Preston at the controls of LSL’s Blue Pullman HST set with powercars 43059 and 43046. You are working 1Z43 the 05:41 departure from Ulverston destined for Paignton later today and you will be in charge between Preston and Crewe calling at Wigan North Western and Warrington Bank Quay on route. No issues have been reported so far this morning so this should hopefully be a fairly laid back run to Crewe but do keep an eye on your signals. You will be relieved on arrival at Crewe. I don’t know if it’s just me but ever since installing the HST cab I can’t run this anymore. Have tried reinstalling everything with no luck

great scenario – only one little minor point – the train actually went into Platform 12 for crewe (sic) change – and as it went down the Salop lines, platform 1 was an impossible option for signallers! But thanks for great scenario.
Martin, thank you for your comment and feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’m aware in real life the train went into platform 12 at Crewe as it took to South Wales line from Crewe as you say, however, unfortunately, due to a glitchy TPWS grid on the route in TS, if you use platform 11 or 12 coming from the Up Fast it gives you an emergency brake application as you pass the signal. So to avoid this, I used platform 1, I hope this doesn’t spoil the scenario for too many people.
