———————————————————–
Well well well… it’s finally here! Not in its entirety, but certainly the bulk of the
fantastic work. Enough to tucker you out driving 385s. Or 365s (woop woop) or
380s (upgrade when?).
With the recent arrival of the much anticipated ATS Class 385 Upgrade, we have decided to release Network ScotEast in 2 parts.
Part 1 (THIS), will cover all electrified areas of the route, so from Edinburgh to Glasgow (via both Falkirk High and Falkirk Grahamston), and Glasgow to Alloa and Dunblane.
This will enable you guys in the wonderful TS Community to enjoy and create a plethora of scenarios to use with the excellent 385 upgrade.
The unelectrified areas (Fife Circle, Longannet branch, and up to Ladybank and Leven) will form Part 2, which is yet to be completed. When Part 2 is complete, it will release as a FULL route which can go over the top of Part 1 and form the entire Network as originally intended.
More information can be found in the Manual. Please ensure you read it in it’s entireity.

–
INSTALLATION:
Copy the Assets and Content folders into your main Railworks directory. If you are asked to overwrite anything then select YES.
Then navigate to your Assets folder and run the ‘NSE Lampposts.bat‘ batch file.
–
SCENARIOS:
This route comes with two basic scenarios:
1R80 1515 Glasgow Queen Street – Edinburgh
2P41 1338 Edinburgh – Dunblane
These scenarios are only basic scenarios and don’t have extensive AI traffic, as they are intended as just ‘something to drive’ scenarios, and do not have announcements included. The only AI in these scenarios are strictly Class 385 operations.
This leaves a wide open space for the wonderful Train Sim Community to create more fun and extensive scenarios.
You must have the ATS Class 385 Upgrade to use these scenarios.

Thanks and enjoy!
I have tried to run the lamppost bat but this has failed to run it doesn’t open I have the latest JT.
unfortunately i cannot see any speed signs. I have installed all requirements
Then you don’t have all the requirements. The speed signs are JT Common Library.
I will try and reinstall that.
doesn’t seem to have worked…
also for some reason after installing this all my other routes now have the signals coming from the platforms what is going on
Whatever this issue is, it is nothing to do with this route.
hi i carnt see a quick drive with this route
Quick Drive is not supported with this route.
When i was downloading Network Scoteast P2 i had an issue when downloading the NSE Lamposts that comes with it, it dosent work like when i load up the route the lampost dont load and i have tried several times to download it and i have changed settings to help it and still dosent work so do you possibly know why it dosent work
Then you don’t have all the requirements stated. The lampposts are from the JT Common Library. It is advisable that you have the more recent JT routes, i.e: Midland Mainline etc
i have all requirements but NSE Lamposts isn’t opening after many attempts
I wish this had been released without the need for the signal EP, and with a patch for those who do want to use it (like almost all other routes). Have all the reqs and it looks a great map, but enhanced signals just doesn’t interest and I’m not going to buy that overpriced latest AP pack for one freeware route (as good as it looks. And it does look great).
You can still play the route without the Signal EP, just some signals may act as unintended.
Brilliant! Love that route and I’m driving it up and down with much joy. Patiently awaiting Phase 2. For which I have a little request. Is it possible to have P5 and 6 at EDB prolonged to accomodate LNER services?
Sadly this isn’t possible due to the model of Edinburgh Waverley being inexplicably wrong (Thanks DTG!). – The way around it for me is if placing a 9-car Azuma in either Platform 5 or 6, just to remove a coach from the middle of the train so that it fits in!
That’s what I did. Was just wondering, if it wouldn’t be possible to move the Cat-post a bit and with that pushing the junction further away and the signals. I don’t mind the train being too long for the platform itself, SDO for the win at that point. If not, Class 80x 8car will do.
