[HST] 1Y84 1202 York to London Kings Cross
16th February 2019You’ll drive the 1Y84 from York to London Kings X in a LNER HST, calling at several stops on the way.
Requirements;
ECML Merge
ATS LNER/VTEC HST Reskin
RSC Class 91 Pack with AP EP
BH LNER/VTEC Class 91 Reskin
Class 180 DTG
Class 313 AP
313 Old Reskin
South London lines
Superalbs 387 Great Northern Reskin
So I downloaded the route, and decided this would be my first run on it. I downloaded the 91 & HST stock packs and the 313 reskin.
I thought there would be a few teething problems, some missing stock, something not installed right… but no! It all worked perfectly and I had a really good time driving from York to Kings Cross.
Thanks very much 1Ceege!
Oh, just one thing: the AP VP185 EP is required as well as the MTU one, for the EMT HST. You might want to add it to the list of requirements at some point. 🙂
I have checked the route and there are four or five short sections about 2 sleepers long where the junction speed bleeds into the running line. You only get a short blast of the speed dropping to 15 mph. I have edited my copy of the route the tiny gaps are hard to find as they do not show when you are in the editor.
Hi
Great scenario so far, I too have the 15 mph speed limit showing but these seem to be at crossovers.
I cannot find the 313 old reskin I have the AP pack but not showing there. can you advise
Cheers
I have run this scenario and I found two problems the first is that I can not get south of Peterborough as every time I depart the platform the train derails. The second is not the scenario but a route problem as there are a few junctions between York and Grantham where the line speed drops to 15mph. This is where the junction speed bleeds into the running line, I have fixed this on my copy of the route. To finish I would like to say thank you to the scenario makers and the route builders for making this route possible. I can see myself spending many hours driving from England to Scotland.
Hey rjrpcrail. I didn’t have the same prob as you with the line speeds. As for Peterborough though, even though you get the ‘RA’, wait for the starter to clear. Then you’ll get through unscathed!
There is a 387 that crosses in front of you at Peterborough. The aspect is at Danger for a reason!
Great stuff, enjoyed this one too 🙂 Great use of the merge and the AP weather. Just one thing though…. I got the Right Away at Peterborough before the Starter came off. Loved it though, so good to be able to stretch my legs on that lovely race track!
