DR73106 Driver Training Operation
You will be moving DR73106 from sidings at Sandy and driving on to Hitchen before undertaking a short brief of how to use the tamping machine. Once this has been carried out, DR73106 will be stabled overnight at Hitchen sidings in readiness for the night shift engineering crew.
Proper Pea Soup
You will be moving DR73106 from Hitchen to Peterborough. The weather is atrocious this morning, so be very careful. The maneuvre out of Hitchens Sidings is a bit tricky, but once you get on the mainline, it’s plain sailing all the way to Peterborough.
Today you will be driving to Hatfield to carry out some emergency track maintenance – once complete, you will run DR73106 up to Hitchen and store the tamper in Hitchen Up Yard Siding 4.
