The Locomotive Exchange Trials have come to Weardale, and the Eastern Region is testing an ex-GWR Pannier Tank to see how it compares to the ex-LNER G5. Drive a Pannier Tank on a stopping service from Barnard Castle to Bishop Auckland, calling at all stations.
