On a warm late-August evening in 2004, take 31468, 31601 and a rake of Mk2s on the St. Denys to Salisbury leg of 1V96 Brighton to Cardiff, part of a diagram which was worked by 31s on Fridays only! Wessex Trains was in the process of repainting this stock at the time, so you have a hotch-potch of liveries today!
