Summary

A scenario for the excellent South Western Expressways to Reading route. On a Summer Saturday you are in charge of this very popular westbound service to Cornwall, running the 137 miles between Reading and Exeter non-stop. Year : 2000

Scenario run-through
This scenario should last around 100 minutes. This is the fourth of five trains to leave London within an hour for various destinations in Devon and Cornwall, and is very popular. Once on your way from Reading you will run non-stop to Exeter St.David’s, where you will be relieved. There is a 30mph emergency speed restriction on the approach to Kintbury, and a 40mph temporary speed restriction between Bruton and Castle Cary.
