Hello there, thank you for downloading this 60 minute scenario for the China Clay for Export route by DTG.
To install this scenario, you’ll need to copy the ‘Content’ folder to your Railworks folder. This is a ‘Standard’ scenario and is named “(WVC) 6G08 1357 Goonbarrow – Fowey”

Scenario summary
It’s a fine Summer afternoon in 1988 and today you have charge of a loaded train of China Clay between Par and Fowey Docks (Carne Point). At this time the China Clay industry in Cornwall was booming with up to 9 terminals dispatching rail traffic daily, the biggest change was in February of that year with the new CDA hopper wagons entering traffic and ousting the 50+ year old wooden bodied Clay Hood open wagons. Over the next few decades, the industry was to shrink and as of 2024 there are only two regular China Clay trains remaining in Cornwall. You’ll be taking this train right through to Fowey with 37669, on arrival at Lostwithiel you’ll need to collect an additional set of wagons.

Although this scenario is set in 1988, the timings have been taken from a 1990s Working Timetable.
