Over the second weekend of September 2005, Bombardier held an open day at Crewe Works. The main highlight of the open day, was the line up of ex LMS Express engines, including 46229,46233,46203 and 46201.Also attending the event was 4472 Flying Scotsman. On the stock move from York, she also brought some diesels with her.
