Set in 2006, you are to take control of the ex 09.25 St Pancras – Sheffield service. You are booked to call at: Leicester, Derby, Chesterfield & Sheffield.

During this 2006 timetable, you are working one of the very few meridian day services to Sheffield.

This scenario is set in the Summer of 2006. All times of Midland Mainline services, and Virgin Cross country services are recorded from the 2006 timetable. As I couldn’t find any Central trains or Northern time tables from 2006, I used some more more recent time tables for these services with a few changes of services I did know which operated around this period. There’s plenty to see, although the scenario it’s self is fairly simple. Side note: As there were no streteches over 110mph on the MML at this time. You may wish to keep to the 110mph where the line speed is in excess of this speed.
