Travel the full route, in 3 parts.
It is:-
1. Edinburgh Waverley To Newcastle
2. Newcastle To York
3. York To London Kings Cross
I was intending to use the official trains for the route, but I had to replace some due to either not having the Correct Trains, so i tried using trains as close to the official ones.
For your train – I replaced the electric Class 800 due to not being able to use it on the Newcastle to York Section. It is still a Class 800 (but the Hitachi Version).
Routes required for the scenario are:-
1 – Newcastle To Edinburgh (Just Trains)
2 – East Coast Mainline (Steam)
3 – The East Coast Mainline – London Kings Cross – Leeds – York (Alan Thomson Simulation)

you could have used the DPSimulations route on steam workshop for the Newcastle to York Section
Why not use the East Coast merge from ats.then you could do the the whole run in one hit.just saying.
I did try using the merge but unfortunately everytime i tried that, i could never get past one of the red light signals, so i decided to split it up.
