Class 378 Capitalstar Soundpack
21st November 2019This soundpack will make the sound on the Class 378 by DTG more realistic aswell as enhance the braking and accellerating physics. Included is a scenario for the North London Line.
A preview is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZphPvMVQPo
You need to enable EFX in the Settings > Audio, otherwise this Soundpack is utterly pointless and will not sound good.
Installation
1. Install the Class 378 DLC via Steam
2. Install the Armstrong Powerhouse Class 375/377 Soundpack
3. In the downloaded file, you will find a *.rwp file which needs to be installed with Utilities.exe found in the Train Simulator main directory (steam/steamapps/common/railworks).
Please note these other things
– When you install this, the Southern Class 377 will also get new ‘Joint’ (sound when driving over railway joints) and ‘Flange’ (sounds when driving into a curve) sounds
– The passenger view does not feature a cab occlusion meaning that it will sound like being outside when in passenger view
Changelog
v.1.1:
-fixed a Bug that caused the Cab Air Condition do be audible in other trains
-fixed missing rolling sounds if you had the AP Track Enhancement Pack installed
Please update this patch to use the new AP 375/377 EP as the soundpack is no longer available and so this patch won’t work for anyone that didn’t buy the sound pack before it was taken off the market.
Hi, I do not have a .rwp file in the download.
When I installed this the sounds were not applied.
?
This soundpack repare the bug sound of the open and closing doors
?
which bug is that?
Hi there, will this be updated to support the now released AP class 375/77 EP? Thanks 🙂
Gives me a error – unable to load file – tracks.bin 🙁
I’m assuming you’re attempting a career scenario? Due to the modifications the game recognises this as ‘impure’. Its way of telling you is to throw up a Tracks.bin error. Press F2 and then cancel, OR double tap backspace to ignore this. You will not receive Career XP for completing the scenario.
Does this work with NLL/GOBLIN?
Sounds are pretty cool indeed. I have to say though the acceleration after applying this is way too powerful, like double the real thing. Pulling away in power step two is equivilent to step four in the real thing. The braking is accurate enough though. Worth it for the sounds, but I have to use P1, P2 only. Thanks 🙂
Thank You 🙂 what are your sources on that though? I checked the accelration with the speedometer. They should be correct now. Before they accelerated way to slow
