(BR 80s) 1300 92 Bournemouth to London Waterloo – 6th August 198528th July 2019
The date is the 6th of August 1985.
Today you are in charge of the 13:00 Bournemouth to London Waterloo Semi-Fast service, with the head code of 92.
You are due to leave at Bournemouth’s middle sidings at 12:55, before proceeding to Platform 2, where you will wait until your train’s departure time of 13:00.
Your stopping points today are Christchurch, New Milton, Brockenhurst, with arrival at Southampton Central some 38 minutes later.
Timings are tight on this one, so no hanging around to admire the scenery.
Please note that the units are renumbered to be a 4REP/4TC Combination, as there isn’t a REP or TC available.
All other AI trains are based on workings featured in the All Lines Timetable from 1985, apart from the odd one or two added for good measure.
To run this scenario, you will need the following content:
DTG BR Class 33 Loco Add-On
BR Class 421 ‘4CIG’ Loco
BR Class 422 ‘4BIG’ EMU Add-On
BR Class 423 ‘4VEP’ EMU Add-On
AP: Class 205 Diesel Electric Multiple Unit Pack
DTG European Loco & Asset Pack
DTG South Western Main Line: Southampton – Bournemouth Route Add-On
BR Blue Class 47 Pack (Pre 1985) (Vulcan Productions)
There is a 4TC Stand in available on Sscenarios
Thanks Ben, but already tried it with a 4TC (4CIG in shut down mode), but the 422 doesn’t perform well when trying to haul two dead units. Until someone can produce a 4REP, we’re just going to have to pretend for a while.
