6M39 Moreton-On-Lugg to Radlett Redland Roadstone (MML – 2009/2010)
15th May 2023Overview:
Beginning at Bedford North Junction, take the final leg of service 6M39 into Radett Harper Road (Known otherwise as Radlett Redland Roadstone). Finding yourself in between the late morning traffic you’ll need to keep an eye on your signals with the fairly heavy weight of fifteen loaded hoppers.
Difficulty
With a few expected hold ups there shouldn’t be too many surprises, getting back up to 60 mph may not be the easiest.
Time, Weather, Route
Starting time of 0917 with a 75 minute run time. Cloudy, Summer. Bedford N-Jnc to Radlett. Set between 2009 to 2011, during DBS’ take over of EWS and EastMidlands Trains’ early days.
Requirements
From Steam:
Just Trains Class 222 DEMU (May also work with the JT Website Version?)
DTG Class 59, also available with the Medway Valley and Chatham Main
DTG MML London to Bedford
Kuju/DTG European Loco and Assets Pack
From Armstrong Powerhouse “AP”:
AP HKA and JMA Wagon Pack
AP Class 319 EMU Pack Vol2
AP HST and MK3 VP185 Enhancement Pack
Notes and Known Issues:
– Southbound services starting on the Marston Vale branch due an issue with the in-game “Portals”.
– FCC Class 377s omitted due to personally not owning this pack
– This scenario uses current timings with rolling-stock and liveries backdated, hence some service names and numbers may look incorrect.
A most enjoyable scenario, Thank you.
Enjoyed this one and thanks for posting – took it a bit steady to cut down the signal wait part way through.
A suggestion for the 59

This doesn’t seem to have had much attention, but it certainly improves the sounds for me – and no, SD40-2s don’t sound like this – they’re unsilenced.
