Northern are in the process of converting most of their Class 319 fleet into bi-mode Class 769 units for use in the northwest. The conversions are happening at Brush traction in Loughborough.

One unit – 319369 – is being towed by Class 37800 from Allerton Depot to Loughborough via the WCML to Lichfield and a reversal at Derby. You take over the train at Derby after the Class 37 has ran-around the train and take it to Loughborough Brush, reversing at Loughborough station.
