It’s Saturday 3rd September and engineering works are taking place between Totnes and Plymouth,
resulting in some odd workings. Most long distance services were terminating or starting at Exeter,
however a roughly hourly service was maintained to or from Totnes. You are working what would normally
be the 05.24 Bristol to Penzance Sprinter service. Today however, it is terminating at Totnes and will
form 1A77 08.17 Totnes to London Paddington. Therefore it is formed of an HST in their swansong days on
the GWR expresses. We pick-up the run in Taunton. Year : 2018.
