This scenario will take approximately 62 minutes to complete.

Please be aware that this scenario is fictional, being based on a route and timings which depict the modern day network, but set in the year 1988 when Sprinters and Super Sprinters were replacing much of the ageing 1950’s DMU’s and other Locomotive hauled services.

In this journey you will be taking charge of 2G03, a Class 150/2 DMU forming the 08:15 service from Edinburgh Waverley to Glenrothes with Thornton.
You will be calling at Haymarket, South Gyle, Dalmeny, North Queensferry, Inverkeithing, Rosyth, Dunfermline Town, Dunfermline Queen Margaret, Cowdenbeath, Lochgelly and Cardenden.

This run has been based on accurate CURRENT (Feb 2020) train times verified against Realtime Trains.
In reality in the time when this scenario was set there was not a Suburban Electric link from Glasgow to Edinburgh, however these services have been included for added immersion using period correct EMU’s.
