1Z28 16:30 BTM-SWI / 1Z29 17:33 SWI-BTM

13th May 2021 14 By Jonathan Molyneux

It’s the 10th of May 2021 and after cracks appeared on GWR’s fleet of IET’s over the past days all but 2 sets were pulled from service leaving quite a gap to fill in the timetable. The two available sets are shuttling between Reading and Newport, leaving no service to Bristol TM, Swansea and the West Country. However, in an effort to fill the gap left Cross Country have stepped up and provided a half hourly Swindon-Bristol shuttle using HST set XC04 and Voyager unit 220015. This afternoon you’ll be taking the 1Z28 16:30 service from Bristol to Swindon and returning with 1Z29 the 17:33 departure from Swindon. 43207 and 239 provide power.

Duration: 105 minutes.
