There’s been a press event at Edge Hill depot for Virgin Trains who have put on a charter to ferry journalists from London to Liverpool. You’re in charge of the return ECS working from Crewe to Liverpool, as there was no room to stable the set in Liverpool during the day. The Pretendolino Mk3 set is worked by Virgin Class 57s top and tailing so the entire set is in the Virgin livery. As you’re only an empty coaching stock working other services may get priority so keep an eye on the signals and the weather!
