Under a year into the London Midland franchise and with the Class 350s still fairly new, take charge of 1P54 – the once daily service from Crewe to Preston. This train only ran in service northbound and returned ECS and was short lived and cancelled by Christmas 2008. To add to the rarity of the service, there’s a glorious sunset to enjoy as you head north!
