26th December 2021Hello, this is one ‘standard’ scenario for DTG’s WCML Over Shap route available from Steam.
Length: Approximately 80 minutes.

To install, simply extract the .zip file using whichever software you have and copy the ‘Content’ folder to your RailWorks install “usually” found here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks
>Scenario Guide:
You begin this scenario being held waiting for a path into Carlisle station where you will drop off a colleague. It has been a terrible two days on the northern sections of the WCML with significant snowfall causing all manner of problems. The lines were only fully reopened this morning after snow had been cleared so there are a number of delayed services which have finally been allowed through. Due to several trains being in the wrong place you have RES liveried 86425 for your journey vice the booked class 325s. A detailed manual with links to everything you need is included with the download, enjoy.

Lovely scenario to play there john and with the 86 as well it was a pleasure hauling mail carriages to Preston wand w8th a dead 86 makes the experience better
Loved the ai in this 37s 56s 90s 86s and even a hst all with mixed up liveries
Seems like you know the wcml very well

Thomas, thanks very much for your comment and feedback. Yes, the AP 86 is a brilliant loco to drive, very realistic as far as the controls and sounds go and it can be challenge, especially on routes with plenty of neutral sections! I’m sure the 87 will be just as good if not better when it gets released!

Great scenario over what is still one of my favourite routes in TS and driving the 86 which in EP form can be quite challenging – especially in winter conditions! Scenario ran impeccably and with interesting diversity of AI to keep you entertained en route. Thank you for sharing your work.
