15th December 2021Hello, this is one ‘standard’ scenario for the lovely ‘WCML Midlands & Northwest’ route from ATS:

To install, simply extract the .zip file using whichever software you have and copy the ‘Content’ folder to your RailWorks install “usually” found here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks
>Scenario Guide:
You begin this scenario at Arpley Yard in Warrington. You have been requested to drive a trip working of TDA tanks to Crewe Basford Hall after the original train failed yesterday. EWS control have given you a pair of classic 37s as your motive power in the form of Transrail 37250 and Loadhaul ‘heavyweight’ 37713. You will start by running out of the shed and coupling to your train, then, when given the ok, you will make your way gradually to Crewe but be aware, due to the weight of your train and a couple of standing starts being required, careful use of the brakes and power handle will be required to keep you moving, enjoy! A detailed manual with links to everything you need is included with the download.

It looked like a good scenario, but there seems to be a mistake where I get priority over an express at Acton Grange Junction.
Great scenario again, John. Hits the sweetspot of not being to long and not being too short, and there’s still being plenty of tasks to keep you busy.

hi john have twice tried to run this great scenario both times i get as far as crew slow line about a mile to finish when my machine just seems to crash and i get a green screen no out of memory error which you sometimes get on a scenario i wonder if you have any idea what could be causing this it has never happened on any other scenario i am running windows 64 bit win 11 16 gig of ram ryzen7 3700x 8 core processer and a radeon 5700 graphics card hope you can help thank steve
Stephen, please accept my apologies for the delay in replying, I was working last night. I’m sorry to hear you’re having some trouble with this. I can’t say anyone else has reported issues to me or anything like what you’re experiencing. Crewe Basford Hall is pretty full of static AI as well as moving trains to make it more atmospheric and true to life for the people playing. Given what you’ve said, and the fact that, judging by comments and Facebook posts, other people have completed it, this doesn’t seem to be an issue related to the scenario?
I know on the odd occasion some scenarios just wont work as intended on a small number of people’s systems, this is purely down to TS being TS and all our installs are slightly different, although this doesn’t look like the scenario simply not working. First impressions to me (and I know very little about computer ins and outs!) is it may be your graphics card showing signs of issues, or more likely a corrupt asset within TS somewhere. If you’re sure it’s not any of your hardware, and if you get any further issues with other scenarios or routes, then I would suggest it may be time for a reinstall of TS to rid yourself of any potential corrupt asset(s).
I’m really sorry if I haven’t been of much use to you there Stephen, I could try and delete most of the AI around BH and upload a ‘lite’ version of the scenario if you would like to see if that works? Otherwise I’m unsure what else I can do. Wish you luck with whatever you end up doing and any other help you want feel free to ask.
