Class 170 – Ex-WMT (East Midlands Railway)

Class 170 – Ex-WMT (East Midlands Railway)

16th February 2021 2 By Clowes

East Midlands Railway have taken delivery of their first 170 from West Midlands Trains, this being 170530. All 26 WM based units will transfer to the other half of their original stomping ground, the East Midlands. 3 Car units 630-635 have had their centre coaches removed and sent to Cross Country, the DMSL pairs now renumbered 530-535.

170530 is currently performing test services in an unbranded guise (but still with a WMT diamond or two)

What’s included?
170 in the West Midlands Railway ‘transitional’ livery, minus bodyside logos but with East Midlands destinations.
PreLoad for 2 car formation.
