hi, I was unable to open the doors at kings cross Thameslink B platform, and therefore fails me in the scenario. any help please
Hi Matthew, I’ll run the scenario and check. But I haven’t heard of this problem happening before. Are you sure the train is positioned properly?
yes I stopped at different points, even reversed to find a spot and nothing happened, if there is something i need to do different, please let me know
Also, instead of the Kingscross platform on the little HUD at the bottom of the screen being green like all the other platforms you stop at, this platform showed up as yellow/orange which seems strange
Matthew, based on this feedback I am creating the entire run V2 and have used real train times to decide the stopping pattern. I have put a few hours into it this afternoon. Hope to have it out in the next few days. This has also entailed a complete revamp of all the Ai The Platform you are having issues with is skipped in the new version. Thank you for your feedback, really helped me out!
your welcome, sorry for giving you more work, but at least the more detail, the better to finding the solution
any news on Version 2 of this Scenario please?, I’m really looking forward to it when its ready
13 active trains in the scenario throughout, with the rest being static, and all trains consist of either Class 700 or Class 387.
You should see 13 active trains before you get to Luton!
The packaging and directory pathing is a mess also.
Is this scenario without AI trains?
Not it run properly yet, but RWTools shows 31items of AI (if I’ve counted correctly) and it loads OK on a quick check with AI showing at various points on the 2D map. It’s a bit of a pain to install though – a Readme detailing the steps would help.
Probably, there are only AI Thameslink trains in the scenario.
Hi Deargdoom. Thanks for downloading the scenario. To run the scenario, you should just need to open the .rwp in ultilities.exe, is there something you are having difficulty with?
No, it runs fine thanks, it’s just that the .rwp file is “buried” in more sub files than is usually the case. Generally, with no readme instructions to the contrary, unzipping and then just copying the Content file into Railworks will install a scenario, but in this case it places the .rwp file within the route’s Scenarios file, so it’s possible to think it’s installed OK when it isn’t, which initially caused a bit of head scratching. I think Chris Horsfield is probably making the same point, but it’s just an observation, not a major criticism.
