Good morning driver you are today working the 09:33 Birmingham New Street – London Euston. The year is 2000 and the new Virgin Voyagers have just started to run on the network. Central Trains Class 323’s have had reported brake issues so they have been pulled from service and temporary replaced by Class 150/1 trains.

You are to work a Silverlink County Class 321 to London calling at Birmingham Int, Coventry, Rugby, Long Buckby & Northampton in part 1 and then Milton Keynes Central, Watford Junction & London Euston in part 2. Should be a fine ride which no issues reported. Might be slightly held up between Northampton & Wolverton as you follow a slow freight train.
