On a typical Welsh Summer day in July 1997, you’ll be taking 6B51 one of many loaded coal trains between Margam and Llanwern during the latter years of steel production in South Wales. 56064 Provides the power on the 10:25 departure from Margam with 35 loaded HBA’s in tow for a challenging run through South Wales. The weather is only expected to get worse and a stopping 150 in front of you will really test your knowledge of the gradients in this part of the country.
