Prior to the opening of the Borders Railway, Newcraighall to Edinburgh was serviced
by a through service round the Fife Circle to Edinburgh, serving Edinburgh twice,
which was not confusing at all for the people of Newcraighall. Anyway, these
services were usually worked by Class 158s and you will be working this service
from Newcraighall to Edinburgh via the Fife Outer Circle calling at all stations on
route.
