Scenario run-through
This scenario should last around 40 minutes. We join this train at Manchester Victoria awaiting its booked departure time at 08.06. You will be running non-stop to Huddersfield. At York, 37406 will run-round and both locos will power the train via Leeds, Hellifield, Carlisle (2 hour break), Hexham, and Durham. Then back at York, 37406 will return to this end of the train to haul it back to Liverpool. Maximum speed is 80mph.
I do hope you enjoy this scenario.
Hi Matt (I apologise in advance as this is quite long)
Ref: 1Z50 0700- MJC-Hudd.
Firstly I have a ton load of issues trying to get this to display within Pennine Pacers route Man-Hudd V2 route. (The first leg from Lime St-Man Vic on the ATS Chat Moss route I had no issues with). After months of trying to get it work Via the Man Vic-Hud route I finally decided to look in the route directory and discovered there are 2 x 30+digit scenario codes beyond the actual route code itself. Having checked others I realised they only had 1 x 30+ digit code, therefore I edited one of the two out and Installed the remaining one within the route. Finally on opening up the game for the first time the above scenario was visible however on opening it up there was a load of other issues reported. There was both many and long to write here but to give you a flavour:- missing or broken consists, route being blocked, unknown errors, missing portals, ect. I did take a pic of the edit window showing the faults, however there is no way to forward via communication. There are no other issues with other scenarios on this route therefore I am contacting yourself in the hope you will be able to help in resolving the issues I have experienced.
Hi Michael,
Apologies it’s taken a little while to reply. This scenario was written for version 1 of this route when it only included Manchester Victoria, not Piccadilly. It seems that alterations to the route during the change to version 2 have affected this scenario. I will put it on my list of things to look into when time permits.
Thanks,
Matt
Hi Matt.
No probs and apologies are mine now as I have only just spotted your reply. Very Much appreciate if you can sort out the issues. When I purchased my T.S I did lots of watching on Train Sim Tv and this scenario was one I was very much looking forward to . Thanks Mike
Apparently the Victoria to Huddersfield route doesnt exist anymore.
Hi Darryl, it’s now called Manchester Stations to Huddersfield, as they have added Manchester Piccadilly.
Brilliant scenario to compliment a truely stunning route. Thank you!
Thank you Trev, glad you liked it.
An enjoyable scenario, thanks. One minor issue is that you have used trams with an open coupler cover. In the editor the FC variant denotes the front coupler to be used for double trams and NFC means no front coupler to be used for single trams (or you can just use the prebuilt consists).
Thank you for a great route. I’ll have a look at the trams, didn’t notice the differences when I placed them.
