21st August 2021In this scenario, you will be taking a Class 387, on an express service to Gatwick Airport. Once you leave London, it’s a non stop through service to Gatwick Airport, passing through London and the Surrey countryside along the way.

Installation:
Run the installer, which will install the files for you. In Train Sim, you will need to go to Standard Scenarios and choose London to Brighton as the route you wish to drive and select my scenario.

I think I followed your instructions correctly, but this whole portals thing is really complicated. I’ve installed the portals, but I’m not sure if i’m supposed to do anything further to get your scenario to work. When I just load the scenario, I get lots of errors about portals. Do I need to go into the Build menu and edit the scenario or the route? Seems like a major faff just to get one scenario to work if that is the case.

Hi nice scenario, although it would’ve been better if you created it on a more updated version of the Brighton mainline like the South London to Brighton route for example
The South London to Brighton route is literally a merge of the South London Network and London to Brighton, so the track covered in this scenario would be no different.
