Summary
On a fine Summer afternoon, drive final leg of this popular Virgin Cross Country service between Plymouth and Penzance with 47845 “County of Kent” at the sharp end. Year: 2000
Release the doors and prepare to depart. You have just taken over this very busy service in Plymouth and will drive through to Penzance, calling at Liskeard, Bodmin Parkway, St. Austell, Truro, Redruth, and St. Erth. This loco spent last night stabled in Bournemouth and earlier today hauled the 06.36 Poole to Edinburgh service as far as Birmingham, before taking over this train.
