Summary
You have just taken over this service at Westbury, set-up your cab and prepare for departure. Signalling problems have trapped the booked class 33 and stock for this train at Portsmouth Harbour, but the resourceful Southern Region have managed to turn out a class 205 ‘Hampshire’ unit to cover the service from Fratton. Less capacity and not as comfortable maybe, but at least the train is running. You will be calling at Trowbridge, Bradford-on-Avon, Bath Spa, Oldfield Park, Keynsham, Bristol Temple Meads, Nailsea & Backwell, Yatton, Weston Milton, and Weston-super-Mare. This being a Summer Saturday there are some interesting trains around. Year : 1985.
