Good morning driver, today you are operating 1E03, the 0526 service from Stirling to London Kings Cross. There was a slight panic at the depot earlier this morning as the Azuma planned to run on this service failed at the depot, so a quick rush over to the back-up set, formed of 82213 and 91102 ‘City of York’. As the ECS move to Stirling was running late the decision was made to start the service at Falkirk Grahamston, you will join the service at Larbert Sidings before moving out onto the mainline to move to Falkirk Grahamston. After Falkirk Grahamston you will call at Haymarket and Edinburgh Waverley only, where another driver will take over the service to take it down the East Coast Mainline to London Kings Cross. With the sun rising it is looking like a lovely spring morning with traffic light with early morning services and ECS moves about, with more traffic the closer you get to Edinburgh Waverley.
