Thank you for downloading this scenario. I hope that you enjoy it and find it fulfilling. All services are taken from the correct working timetables of the period and in some cases running to time might not yield the best reward.

The scenario works best with the 64-bit version of Train Simulator (32-bit is untested). As well as needing the South London and Thameslink merge route from the Steam Workshop you will also need the following DLC:

Ok. So at the top of RS tools there are several tabs. You need the tab “Edit Assets / Content” and then you need “Asset Editor” Then you are presented with an asset list. Scroll down until you find “Kuju” and then you need “RailSimulator”, “RailVehicles”, “Diesel”, “Class 47”. Then find the required 47, for example “Railfreight Distribution 47053”. Then select the box “add to list” and you will see it open in the box below. Then select it using your cursor so that it is highlighted. Back at the top you have some tabs again, select “Edit Rolling Stock” and the 3rd entry down “Make Selected Stock Dead”. Hit that, TS Tools will work it´s magic, give you a message that it is done and then hey presto, you have a dead loco. It looks daunting but once you´ve done one it soon becomes very quick and easy. Let me know how you go.
Good luck,
Simon
I don’t have the 411/412, which is OK and the scenario starts up with no problems, but having downloaded and installed the RFD 47s, TSTools shows that I’m missing the “dead” versions of these – any ideas?
Hi Deargdoon. How familiar are you with TS Tools? You can make the “dead” locos yourself if you want to, it´s really easy. Let me know how you go.
Good luck,
Simon
Thanks for the reply. I use TS Tools to swap rolling stock (I don’t have the AP 319s either), add missing assets to routes as you can often find them in several places (tedious!), and raise AP track, but have no idea where to start making dead locos – any help would be appreciated and I’ll certainly give it a go.
Update, thanks, after a bit of Googling I’ve sussed how to make dead locos.
Oh cool. I hope that you enjoy the scenario.
Somehow I missed your guidance on making dead locos – sure it wasn’t there when I started Googling. Yes I enjoyed the full run through thanks, unfortunately I don’t yet have the latest version of the Chatham Main Line (hadn’t noticed that it was now a requirement) which makes the route pretty incomplete in places, but will give it another run when I have.
Oh definitely get the latest Chatham Mainline if you can, it´s really good. Also it´s well worth getting from AP both the 319 and the 411 as they really are totally awesome and really make a difference to the experience. I´m off to make some more scenarios so keep looking out as some more will be posted soon.
Cheers
Simon
