>Scenario Guide:
You begin this scenario having taken over the controls of 43080 at the head of Virgin’s 1O71 at Preston. This trip is usually booked a Class 47/8 and mk2s but due to a shortage of available stock last night, this HST has been scrambled off Longsight to cover the turn to Birmingham. You start off running 35 minutes late due to the late set swap but hopefully you’ll catch up some time being able to run at a maximum of 110mph. A detailed manual is included with links to all the requirements and further information, please take your time to read.

That’s it for this one, I really hope you enjoy the drive. I’ve tried to recreate the trains of the era as accurately and realistically as possible. Hopefully, it will feel like you’re back to those glory days on the West Coast. Please do leave feedback, questions, or issues via the download page on the website or via the ATS Group. Look forward to hearing your comments. Stay safe, take care, John (87002RS)

LNERFAN, thanks for your feedback mate and really glad you enjoyed this one. As more and more timetables of the era become available I’ll be sure to do more of these runs, both WCML and MML. Such happy memories of those days and it’s great to be able to relive some of it in TS. Thanks again.
Cheers,
John.
