Paddington to Paignton with Torr and Whatley Quarries plus East Somerset Railway Ver 2.0 by Martin Masterson
11th March 2024This route combines my Reading to Pewsey extension of the JT South Western Expressways OHLE, HSTs Railways of Devon and Cornwall-Berks and Hants to Bristol and Penzance (BHBP) and Western Mainlines (WML) Electrification Project.
You now have a full run from Paddington down to Paignton and includes, Kingswear, Totnes, Exmouth and now has both Whatley and Torr (Merehead) quarries plus the East Somerset preserved Railway.
Requirements
This route uses both routes listed below. If you already have these it is very quick and easy install. If not, you need all the “requirements” of these two routes but not the actual routes however, they are both very good routes to have

When changing to this new version you still must copy all files and run the included batch file as per the instructions
Paddington to Paignton route V2.0 includes a good number of Quick Drives with AI, several Free Roam scenarios plus 6 custom made scenarios.
Full instructions are packed with the route as are the scenario and QD AI requirements

Late to the party as usual but all installed and having a great time thanks.
(Apparently) I’m missing some station signs at West Cranmore

Were they ever made or shall I just remove the milk bottles?
The East Somerset is a nice bonus – nice job.

Thank you for this amazing route is there any chance for a AP Track, Sky and weather and Signal EP patch?
Hi there. I use the AP std Sky and Weather pack, just follow instructions in the pack.
Most signals are JT so the AP ones are not of use.
Other users have added the AP track by using the JT Track Patch that is on the ATS site to download.

Thank you for this Martin, just curious is there any changes to previous release for the Paddington to Paignton main route?
Over the past 18 months I added the two quarries and the Cranmore preserved railway ESR, I had comments that there were no station lamps / lights or occlusions on the JT SWEX section so these were all added too on this version. Does this answer your question ?
