Thanks for checking out this scenario; a semi fictional fast run using a Connex CEP unit from Bournemouth to London Victoria, as far as Southampton Central.

In the late 90’s Connex operated a service for a short while which ran along part of the South Western Mainline from Bournemouth to London Victoria. It ran fast along the south coast and now it’s your turn to enjoy a rapid express service on a summer’s day.

I call this scenario semi fictional because although this service did exist it does not utilise real timings. The AI which you see are prototypical late 90’s fare going about real timetables, expect to see a few South West Trains services and some freight working in the maritime terminal area of Southampton.
