I’ve just bought and installed RW Enhancer and its worth every penny! For those asking what it is (google RW Enhancer) there are two versions:
1: Basic but the software gives the simulator a better look
2: Advanced/Pro where the pre-set that the OP has posted coms into play. With the advanced version you can change multiple areas of the games graphics to tailor the game to your absolute perfection by adjusting how shaders, lighting, reflections, saturation and much more work in game to create that almost perfect realistic look.
This combined with AP’s Sky/weather addon really do make the game look far more realistic.
I’ve just downloaded RW Enhancer and to be honest was a bit daunted by the amount of controls! so I took a chance on your pre-set and am very impressed. It looks fantastic and saves me hours of fettling!! Nice one..
I figured it out, but it would be really helpful to add some form of installation guidance in your download!
Hell how do i install it. if you don’t mind telling me.
Once downloaded, you need to extract the .XML file and place it somewhere like downloads etc… Then, you need to access RWEnhancer and select “Shaders”. Once there, click on import shaders, then select the .XPL file. Done.

Download the file and place on your desktop > Run RW Enhancer Pro (doesn’t work with the basic version)
Then top left corner click File > Import Pre-set > Load the xml file off the desktop and then on the main screen click Install / Update bar. this will install the pre-set.
Now launch the game via the launcher button and enjoy better looking simulator.

I’m fairly new here but did you ever figure it out? I bought last week and it makes the game so much more realistic in terms of graphics.
It’s simple enough you need RWEnhancer I Have not tried it yet but I Have seen the program and all you need to do is download the file which may be a zip file then buy RW Enhancer Pro If you don’t have it already here,

After opening and telling the program where your RW/TS Folder is just press the big blue button that say’s pre-sets manager then press import pre-set, then just press (Install/Update) That’s how simple it is then you open the game to see the improvement ! I Will be buying RWE Very soon to go with this but you can also make your own pre-set with the program there’s a couple tutorials on YouTube telling you some good settings.
