East Midlands Railway (EMR) Class 801 Reskin
20th August 2019This is a reskin of the Class 801 into the East Midlands Railway livery they are expected to have when they enter service on the Midland Mainline from 2022.
The reskin faithfully represents the Class 801 in its’ planned EMR livery, including high quality branding decals!
Many thanks to Doctor Ratchet Rarijack of Great British Railworks for doing the branding decals: https://greatbritishrailwo.wixsite.com/gbrw
The reskin comes with two Quick Drive consists; 5 Car and 9 Car variants.
REQUIREMENTS:
East Coast Main Line London-Peterborough Route Add-On (https://store.steampowered.com/app/222618/Train_Simulator_East_Coast_Main_Line_LondonPeterborough_Route_AddOn/)
Shame this was not set up to use the AP Class 800 Enhancement Pack; instead using the default Class 800 from ECMLS from 2014. Is there a way to get this reskin working with an AP version of the 800?
Hi, could a reskin of an 802 bi-mode be done in the same livery? I’d like to do a scenario for the JT MML and the excellent workshop Leicester to St Pancras route utilising both AC and Diesel for the unelectrified portions of the MML.
Thanks
Are there any plans to do a Bi-mode EMR IET so it can be driven on a service from Leicester to Sheffield please?
The Class 810’s will replace the 180’s (due off Lease May 2023) and the class 222’s on London to Nottingham and also London to Sheffield at the time of posting due to start entering service late 2024
Can someone help me please. I have followed the instructions to install it but when i load into the game the train is invisible. Can someone help me with this problem please
Have you tried following the instructions I’ve given in other comments regarding the .AP file?
I still cannot get the.bat to work please help.
I think I may know the cause of the issue.
Navigate to your RailWorks folder. Then Assets/DTG/Class801Pack01. If there is a .ap file, extract it like a zip file into the Class801Pack01 folder. You should see a folder named RailVehicles. The folder should merge with the one created when you copied the Assets folder from the reskin. Now rerun the .bat file.
Note: when extracting the .ap, if it doesn’t let you merge folders, rename the folder that is already there, extract the .ap, then copy the contents of the renamed folder into RailVehicles from the extracted .ap. Then run the .bat again.
Hope this helps!
same I cannt get the bat to work for other skins
If you can’t get other reskins working try extracting the .ap file for the train you’re trying to install a reskin for.
Hello, I’m struggling with all these IET Re-skins. With my IET Folder, the GEO-PDX never copy. When I look where they should be copying from. There is nothing there, if you could help it would be great. I can’t download the GWR and this Re-skin because they don’t show the GEO-PDX files. Thanks.
Hi, it may be that your IET installation from Steam is missing files and you need to reinstall. Let me know the result of my other reply that you’ll do later and we’ll see if the problem persists.
It will be the AP file. the Geos should be in there
Yep – I presume he saw my other reply and got it working as I haven’t heard anymore.
Hi. I installed the EMR class 801, clicked the .bat file in the assets folder, but it does,nt seem to fully complete, and the cab shows, but not the exterior.
I think I may know the cause of the issue.

Thankyou. Extracted the .ap file as you suggested, sorted.
Brilliant, enjoy!

Hi, i’m having the same issue, however when i try and run the .bat it fails. Any ideas on how to proceed?
Have you extracted the .ap file like I said in my comment above?
Yes, it still fails.
Have you tried extracting the .ap file, then copying the files across from this download, and then running the .bat file?
When you’ve extracted the .ap file, has it merged it with the files already there?
It sort of works now, but doesn’t. It appears in game (3 times over in the menu), but the train doesn’t actually function. All that can be seen in the outside views are the couplings and inter-carriage doorway connectors.
If you open the .bat file in a text editor like Notepad++. Can you manually copy the .GeoPcDx files from the file path on the left and paste them to the file path on the right? This image I’ve made may help: https://imgur.com/a/TYSEkV7
Let me know how you get on!
So the default file for the 801 where I would find the .GeoPcDx is not where you would expect to find it, however the default 801 stock still works in game. Do you have any idea where the default folder might have gone?
The file paths on the left in my image where you copy the geos from are within the .ap file. Does that help?
Hi, yes it works now, thanks for all your help.
Great to hear!
I’ve just read your reply Down there, I’ll that later. If it Doesn’t work, I’ll say again.
lol i have the same problem
I presume you fixed it by following the steps in my above comment and it’s all working now?
Thanks very much for packaging the reskin in such a way in which the .bat file is the chosen method of installation! It makes it so much easier to install. Just copy the Assets folder, click the .bat file, click to end it when it finishes, and done.
Thanks,
-Peter
No problem, always thinking about how to make it easiest for the customer!
Excellent. Hope you make more good reskins in the future. 🙂

Thank you
