Background:
With Glasgow Queen Street high level being shut for electrification in preparation for the arrival of the Class 385s, the regular services that frequented Glasgow Queen Street had to be diverted. The services that usually terminated at Queen Street were diverted between Glasgow Queen Street Low Level and Glasgow Central, with services from Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth and Mallaig all being diverted underground to Queen Street Low Level
via the Maryhill line and Springburn, operating in a circle to avoid changing ends at the congested Queen Street Low Level. During these times Scotrail operated an amended timetable with the regular E-G services of every 15 minutes being scrapped in favour of a half hourly service due to the added journey times as well as pathing issues with the North Clyde Line already being busy without added diverts!

Scenario:
Today you will be operating the final leg of the 09:15 Scotrail service from Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow Queen Street Low Level you will pick up the service after Bishopbriggs where you will run the service to Glasgow Queen Street Low Level. You will go in via the Maryhill line, Anniesland and Partick before operating the 10:31 service to Edinburgh Waverley going back out of the low level station via Springburn. There’s a lot of services operating on the North Clyde Lines today due to the diverts so do be on your toes with yellow and red signals!
